Living in the moment
I think this photo speaks volumes. What’s the first thing you notice about it?
Hint: I’m probably the worst offender at this.
These days it seems like everyone walks around with their phone permanently attached. I know I’m guilty. It’s fine line because technology has helped to connect us, but it’s also become such a distraction that keeps us preoccupied. I think this woman has the right idea. And she looks so happy! It’s best to enjoy the moment while it’s right in front of you, and not from behind a screen or lens.
One of my goals for this trip is to leave all technology at home for a day (I can do one day, right?) It’s a small step, but I think an important one for living in the present, and not worrying too much about missing a photo opportunity.
